Please be advised that requests for third-party add-ons for UP Mail/Google (in the @up.edu.ph domain) now require the endorsement of the UP System Data Privacy Officer (DPO). This is to ensure that said third-party add-ons are appropriate and secure for the University’s Google Workspace.
Before you contact the DPO, check whether the add-on is very essential to your work and there is no security risk in terms of leakage of personal information. For the latter, check the privacy policy of the add-on and check the permissions it asks from you.
