The University will experience lack of Internet connectivity and access to local services such as PABX, when trying to use the UP Manila network. The PGH will also be affected as it is using the ADS authentication service of the UP Manila. The network unavailability will take place on September 23, 2023, from 8AM to 5PM.
The network unavailability is due to the CPDMO's maintenance activity that requires shutting down the electric power in the entire area of Joaquin Gonzales Compound, Padre Faura St.
The IMS will start to shut down the network backbone and servers on September 22, 2023 (Friday), in the early evening. It will closely monitor the CPDMO's activity so that connectivity will be restored immediately on Saturday.
