In keeping with the Christmas spirit of generosity, the Information Management Service, together with three other UP Manila offices, distributed gifts to patients of Sentro ng Oftalmologico Jose Rizal (SOJR) on December 15, 2025.
The three participating offices were Office of the Vice-Chancellor for Research and Extension, led by Assistant VC Dr. Janus Ong; the Research Ethics Board, headed by its Chair, Dr. Cecille Jimeno; and the Office of Student Affairs.
The activity forms part of the annual initiative of UPM, called Adopt-a-Ward, in which offices “adopt” hospital wards by giving gifts to the patients.
