New VPN service of the UP Manila Library

To all interested faculty, staff and students of UP Manila:

The UP Manila Library, together with the UP Manila IMS, officially started the new VPN service of the UP Manila Library last August 27, 2013.

The VPN Service would allow users to access online the resources of the UP Manila library outside of the UP Manila network.

The test-run of the VPN Service was started a few months ago and will be discontinued by September 15, 2013. A new and more secure VPN Service was officially started August 27, 2013. Users of the old VPN service are requested to apply for a new account.

In order to access the UPM's VPN, interested faculty. staff and students of UP Manila have to apply for a VPN user account at the University Library, UP Manila.

You are required to submit the following:

For Faculty, Staff and Researchers: Employee ID and UP Manila email address (of this format: username@post.upm.edu.ph)

For Students: Student ID, Form 5, and CRS email address (of this format: student number@post.upm.edu.ph)

As of now, the following operating systems are supported: Android, IOS, Mac OS, and Windows 7, 8 and XP.
